Dia-Vac® J-Series Compact Diaphragm Pumps

Membrane Sampling Pumps for OEM CEMS Analyzers

Macro Dia-Vac® pump – 14 LPM | 24 InHg | 30 psig

ADI’s J-Series Dia-Vac® diaphragm sampling pumps are designed to fit into CO, CO2, NOx, or Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) analyzers used in Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS). These compact yet powerful single-head pumps are light, quiet, and feature a compact footprint which makes them popular among CEMS Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).

In addition to CEMS integration, J-Series pumps are suitable for:

  • General gas sampling
  • Process analysis
  • Monitoring system applications

Vacuum, Compressor or Both

Designed for flexibility in application, the J-Series can perform as a vacuum pump, compressor, or both depending on the application. Our performance combination curve below illustrates the relationship between (inlet) vacuum, (outlet) pressure, and flow rate. Compared to a standard performance curve, the combination curve covers applications where the pump is providing both vacuum and pressure at a given flow rate instead of just pressure OR vacuum.

Multiple Power Options

For greater flexibility in CEMS integration, J-Series pumps offer a choice of dual voltage 115v/230v, dual cycle 50/60 Hz AC motors, as well as 12-24 volt DC brushless motors.

Heated or Elevated Head Option

The heated head option allows the J-Series to keep the medium in a stable gaseous state. This maintains sample integrity as well as prevents condensate build-up and reduces pump corrosion.

The elevated head option keeps the body of the pump and the motor safe and away from high temperatures in hazardous areas. The maximum permissible temperature for the pump head is 200°C (400°F).

Designed for Accuracy and Longevity

Created for high-accuracy and robust continuous operation, J-Series pumps provide flow rate of up to 14.0 liters per minute (LPM). They also offer adjustable eccentric sizing for greater adherence to system performance requirements and pump longevity.

Made with Top Quality Materials

J-Series pumps are manufactured using aluminum, 316 stainless steel, and optional Teflon/aluminum or Teflon/316 SS wetted parts for superior performance and durability.

Rated for Hazardous Areas

You can choose a J-Series version that includes a motor and enclosure rated IECEx/ATEX Flameproof Zone I for hazardous area applications.

Additional Benefits

  • Durable   Chemical, moisture and corrosion resistant. Features oversized bearings and motor shaft. A blocked inlet or outlet poses virtually no risk of damage to the pump.
  • Low Maintenance and Reliable   Long product lifespan and easily field serviceable. Made of chemically inert material to keep sample integrity. The diaphragm lasts, on average, over 12 months under normal operating conditions.
  • Low Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) compared to industry standards due to low maintenance requirements, long-life high-quality components, and reasonably priced service kits.
  • Made in the USA and Available for Quick Delivery  Manufactured on-site at ADI’s headquarters in Florida, USA so our experts can assemble most pumps to match your application in a short amount of time.
  • Robust, Proven Design   Delivers leak, oil, and contamination free gas samples, offering high chemical and corrosion resistance - can handle small amounts of vapor and water while continuing to operate.
