One of ADI’s original Dia-Vac diaphragm gas sampling pumps, the R-Series has endured the test of time. While incremental improvements and new variants have made the R-Series very popular with most gas sampling applications, its primary purpose of being a rugged all-rounder has not been compromised.
Designed for continuous use, and available in single, double, and quadruple head configurations, the R-Series provides a flexible performance range of up to 150 liters per minute (29.9 InHg, 75 PSIG) to meet your specific exact requirements. These economical, leak‐free diaphragm gaseous sampling pumps are also an ideal choice for OEM customers and can be custom designed and built for your specific application.
In addition, proven reliability is ensured by a robust construction composed of state of the art components. ADI’s R-Series is the perfect match for Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS) and Gas Process Analytics applications used in:
Our R‐Series are offered in explosion proof XP versions to be used for hazardous atmospheres and media. Equipped with ATEX/IECEX certified explosion-proof motors to give you the added dimension of safety, the R-Series XP design ensures sparks that can lead to detonation will NOT occur during normal operation.
For greater flexibility, R-Series pumps offer a choice of dual voltage 115v/230v, dual cycle 50/60 Hz AC motors. Air driven motors are offered for hazardous atmospheres.
The heated head option allows the R-Series to keep the medium in a stable gaseous state. This maintains sample integrity as well as prevents condensate build-up and reduces pump corrosion.
The elevated head option keeps the body of the pump and the motor safe and away from high temperatures in hazardous areas. The maximum permissible temperature for the pump head is 200°C (400°F).
R-Series pumps are manufactured using aluminum, 316 stainless steel, and optional Teflon/aluminum or Teflon/316 SS wetted parts for superior performance and durability.
Double Diaphragm Option - This option allows for increased safety when transporting expensive or extremely hazardous gasses. Should the primary diaphragm fail, the secondary diaphragm keeps the sample media intact.
Robust, Proven Design - Delivers leak, oil, and contamination free gas samples. Offers high chemical and corrosion resistance. Can handle small amounts of vapor and water while continuing to operate.
Low Maintenance and Reliable - Long product lifespan and easily field serviceable. Made of chemically inert material to keep sample integrity. The diaphragm lasts, on average, 8-12 months under normal operating conditions.
Adjustable Eccentric Sizing - To match pressure, vacuum, and/or flow to your application, the R-Series offers modifiable eccentric options. This allows you to customize your Dia‐Vac pump to meet your specific application requirements while at the same time increasing the life of the diaphragm and bearings.
